Jillian Risigari-Gai—Historical Harps
Jillian Risigari-Gai is a native Los Angeles freelance artist. She is currently the Principal Harpist & Co-Founder of the Los Angeles Chamber Music Co. (LACMC), a nonprofit providing audiences with exceptional and affordable chamber and collaborative arts concerts that inspire and promote our sense of passion, community, and diversity. Jillian is on the faculty as a harp professor at the University of Redlands. Jillian was featured as a performing artist for Emmy Award-winning PBS “Artbound Special Episode: Invisible Cities,” a Wireless Headphone Opera performed at LA’s Historic Union Station. Jillian holds principal positions with the Redlands Symphony Orchestra, Dream Orchestra, Pacific Opera Project, and The Contemporary Performance Collective. She is currently Director of Music with the House of Bards Theatre Company and Assistant Director for UCLA’s Early Music Ensemble.
