L.A. Camerata is wrapping up its eighth season of performances that revive women’s stories. This past year, we redoubled our mission to blur the boundary between music and drama, delivering edgy and engaging events that made you part of the performance. We also launched our Kids’ Camerata program, offering two after-school Early Music ensembles and private music lessons to youth. Our community partnerships continue to grow in our vision to envelop audiences broadly in the artistic lives of early modern women. In the final ten days of our fiscal year, we are reaching out for your support. 

L.A. Camerata artists are paid professionals in a mostly-woman ensemble. Your donations pay our artists for their outstanding performance and teaching work. While all amounts are greatly appreciated, here is what your donation could do:

• $25—Pay an artist for an hour of rehearsal

• $50—Pay a teacher for an hour of Kids’ Camerata coaching

• $150—Sponsor a rehearsal stipend for a performer

• $200—Sponsor harpsichord moving and tuning fees for one performance

• $500—Provide a rental instrument to a student in need

• $1,500—Sponsor venue rental and insurance for one performance

• $3,000—Sponsor an ensemble for one performance

• $5,000—Sponsor one full theatrical performance
